Be aware that the "recertification" class provides 24 hours of CEU and meets the NREMT requirement of taking a referesher or recertification class. You will receiive recertification or intial certification as an American Heart Association Healthcare Provider during the EMT recertification class. However, The 10 State and NREMT skills testing is NOT provided as a part of the 24 hours of the course.
You may contact the program director for referrals to instructors and businesses that offer this time-consuming service for a fee. Per State Regulations, the skill testing stations cannot be included in the 24 hours CEU of the refresher/recertification class.
